Half a Century of Cold Chain Packaging
Cooled Solutions started in 1972 as a small producer of insulating packaging materials in the fishing region of IJmuiden. Our founders saw an immediate need: fish had to be transported faster, farther, and cooler, and the existing packaging options were insufficient. What began as a local supplier for the North Holland fishing industry grew into a specialist that today serves hundreds of companies across Europe.

What Has Remained Unchanged
Despite the growth, we are still a Dutch family business. We produce in IJmuiden, advice comes from people who know the practice, and we value long-term relationships with customers. Many of our customers today have been ordering from us for more than ten years.
What’s Next
In the coming years, our focus will be on further sustainability — more recyclable materials, reuse models, and CO₂ reduction in production and transport. The core remains the same: reliable cold chain packaging that works in practice.
