Ordering and Payment
Can I also order from you as a private individual?
Yes. Everyone can order from Cooled Solutions. However, our packaging is primarily developed for business use and we have minimum order quantities per item.
Can I order on invoice?
Yes, ordering on invoice is possible for business customers. You will receive an invoice with a payment term of 30 days after delivery. For the first order, we may ask for a KvK number and additional information for verification.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You can pay online with iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card (Visa, Mastercard), and SEPA transfer. Ordering on invoice is also possible for business customers.
Can I get a customized quote?
Certainly. For larger quantities, custom work, or a fixed price agreement for recurring deliveries, we are happy to provide a customized quote. Request it via our quote form.
Delivery Times and Shipping
What are the delivery times?
Orders placed on business days before 2:00 PM are usually shipped the same day. Delivery typically takes 1–2 business days within the Netherlands and 2–4 business days within the EU.
Do you also ship abroad?
Yes, we deliver throughout Europe. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by country. For shipments outside the EU, custom arrangements are needed — please contact us in advance.
What are the shipping costs?
The shipping costs are calculated based on weight, volume, and destination. You will see the exact amount at checkout. For orders above a certain amount, we deliver free of charge within the Netherlands — see shipping information for current conditions.Can I pick up my order?

Products and Customization
Do you also offer custom packaging?
Yes. For customers with specific requirements — such as a different size, printing, or a certain insulation performance — we are happy to develop a custom solution. Contact our sales department to discuss the possibilities.
What exactly does Cooled Solutions do?
Cooled Solutions is a manufacturer and supplier of insulating packaging for chilled shipping of temperature-sensitive products, such as food, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory samples. We produce, among other things, EPS-tempex boxes, honeycomb coolers, thermal pallet covers, ice packs, and related insulation materials.
How long does my product stay cool in a package?
This depends on the type of packaging, the coolants used, the outside temperature, and the temperature to be maintained. In most practical situations, our solutions keep products at temperature for 24–48 hours. For longer or critical shipments, we are happy to advise you on the right combination.
Are the packages suitable for pharmaceutical shipments?
Yes. We provide solutions that comply with applicable GDP guidelines and meet IATA requirements for air freight. Validation reports for pharma validation are available on request.
Returns and Warranty
Can I return products?
Yes, unopened products in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Custom and printed products are excluded from returns. See our returns page for the full procedure.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us within 48 hours via info@cooledsolutions.nl with photos of the damage. We will immediately provide a suitable solution — replacement or credit.
Sustainability
Are your packages recyclable?
Many of our products are recyclable. EPS is fully recyclable through common waste streams, and our honeycomb and cardboard solutions are FSC certified. We also have a growing range of reusable alternatives.
Do you also have sustainable alternatives?
Yes. Under our sustainable solutions you will find, among other things, honeycomb coolers, FSC cardboard, and reusable gel packs.
