The Insulation box (S) is the corrugated cardboard outer box. The insulating effect comes from the TempGuard insulation sheets (S), which you order separately and place inside the box. Together they form a cooling box; used separately, the box serves as a regular shipping box. Why a cardboard insulation box with separate sheets?

This system is designed for companies that want to store compactly and package sustainably. The box is delivered flat and the sheets are stocked flat — you add the insulation only when packing. This saves a lot of storage space and transport volume compared to pre-formed EPS boxes. After use, both the box and sheets can simply be recycled with paper waste, without a separate collection point. The insulation value of the combination is comparable to EPS (styrofoam/tempex).

How to assemble a complete cooling box

1. Set up the box and place two TempGuard insulation sheets (S) so that the bottom and walls are lined.
2. Put your product inside and add a gel pack — gel packs go on top of the product because cold air sinks.
3. Fold the sheets closed and seal the box. Pack as tightly as possible: less empty space means a more stable temperature.

What is the S size suitable for?

The compact size fits smaller chilled packages: a few pieces of fresh fish or meat, dairy, chocolate, or a chilled medicine shipment. With the right gel packs, you can bridge 24 to 48 hours of transit, from chilled (2–8 °C) to deep freeze — without a refrigerated truck.
